About our Diamonds
Back in May 2023, Brent Knoll Riding Club started its own BD Quest, deciding amongst the interested parties to be called Diamonds in the Rough.
Starting at Mendip Plains by bagging a 2nd place Team result with just 3 team members, our Diamonds continued with team successes, being pipped to 2nd place at Badgworth Arena in July by just .46 marks, before the summer season finished.
With the Winter Season running from just 1 September - 31 December, BKRC's Diamonds in the Rough managed two further team events and two further 2nds.
Second year, a second team! And new kit!
With lots of successes under our belts, BKRC's dancing divas attracted a new team of BKRC members - following suit of the Diamonds, the team of 7 new riders were called Diamonds are Forever and they certainly set the pace for 2024!! Winning most of their outings, with Diamonds in the rough continuing to bring home second place. The old '1-2' from BKRC.
We were also really lucky to be sponsored by Garretts Saddlers from 2024 providing both teams with lovely BKRC blue gilets & numnahs, so the teams now look like a real team.

Want to get involved?
For anyone not familiar with BD Quest there are two 'streams' to the competition - My Quest and Team Quest. You can ride in both on the same day. Team Quest has 7 members, just 4 of those riders compete for the team in each competition.
