BKRC team of just three competitors win the 80cm Senior team competition at the Area 12 Show Jumping Qualifiers
The pictures say it all!
On Saturday 31st July, just one week after qualifying for the South West & Wales Riding Club Championships for dressage our senior team stormed home with a WIN in the 80cm Senior Class and qualification for the SWWRC show jumping champs too!
Even more impressive as the team had just 3 competitors, with 4th rider unable to attend at the last minute due to illness (reaction to the darn Covid Jab!!). So, we say a massive well done to Naomi Kaye & Jazz, Jo Kempton & Cupid, and Jayne Harman & Bam Bam, who finished top of the leader board, winning the class with 3 double clears and also taking home individual placings 3rd, 5th and 9th respectively.
We think these three photos sum up the day and the delight of the team perfectly!
But it wasn't just a great day for our Seniors, Junior member Abi Clifton with Risky, did a lovely two rounds to finish in 5th place in the 70cm class.
