Finally - something useful to do with those trailer and tractor tyres!

No more endless XC tyre jump fences

Firstly, we have Highbridge based sponsor Black-ram.com recycle tyres! Hoorah, finally somewhere that will take all our trailer and tractor tyres rather than us having to build endless XC fences and ornamental garden features.

But Black-Ram don't just take the tyres away, they do some pretty awesome processing, recycling and repurposing of the rubber, steel and carbon black from tyres - transforming them in to valuable materials, re-used in other industries, helping to contribute to environmental sustainability and resource conservation.

For example:

Rubber can be repurposed as new tyres, playground surfaces, athletic tracks, and asphalt pavement.
Steel is reused in automotive parts, construction materials, household appliances and industrial machinery (to name a few)
Carbon Black can be recovered from tyres and re-integrated into new tyre production, reducing the reliance on 'new' carbon black derived from fossil fuels

Ultimately recycling conserves natural resources, reduces environmental pollution and waste, and through reuse and repurposing helps towards a more sustainable future.
